L'Iwee IIIa correspond aux Beier Erika II de format 9 x 12 et 10 x 15. Normalement les Erika II ont un corps en métal, sauf pour ces deux formats-là qui conservent le bois comme matériau. L'abattant est en aluminium.
Ces modèles de grande taille ont un grand viseur sportif en plus du viseur habituel. La gravure montre clairement le logo Beier.
